How to add a new user in Mikrotik RouterOS

Mikrotik RouterOS v6.48.6

1) Login to Mikrotik through a Browser or Winbox using your admin account.

2) To add a new user. Select Systems > Users.

3) Click the Plus sign (+) and provide the following information;

Name, Group, Password and Confirm Password

Name - is your username

Group - is the accessibility restriction:

• full - admin privilege
• read - view only
• write - edit Mikrotik config.

Password and Confirm Password should be the same.

Hit OK button.

4) Go back to USERS to check the created account.

Here you go; you have successfully created a new user!
